It's more about people with compromised immunity who need to be careful of getting septicemia or Meningitis if the bacteria gets into their blood. I think the recall is also to stop it spreading onto other foodftuffs. The bacteria was found in the pacaging factory where the viennas and polony etc is packed. Boil for safety :)
