SALT, SUGAR, FAT: Addiction and Manipulation

Something I’ve been reading on and off over the past month. Pretty alarming stuff, although not necessary to know all the information this book provides. All you need to know is every “food” manufacturer from Nestle to Coka-cola and even those brands that slap a green leaf or two on their logo to appear healthy; have addiction and manipulation of human behaviour down to a fine art. These companies (spoiler alert) don’t give a shit about you or your health and it has become quite clear that neither do these so called food and drug regulators.
It is up to you to regulate what goes into your own body. This process must start with self education, avoiding packaged goods, label reading and above all making your own food from scratch with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.

This process will take some time and I know how difficult it is to overcome sugar addiction especially. So I recommend reducing or cutting things out of your diet slowly and taking it one step at a time. Over time you will start to see health issues, especially joint pain, fatigue and skin conditions subside as your body will be fuelled with the necessary nutrients to start healing it’s self. Come harvest time I will be providing some natural remedies you can make at home to soften the withdrawal symptoms of sugar and other highly addictive substances found in every day food products, but for now I encourage everyone to get researching and get cooking again.

Healthy Sugar Substitutes:
