As the popular saying goes your body or health is a reflection of what you eat.

What you eat during pregnancy period is very important and vital to your health and that of your unborn baby.

There are some food that if you eat during pregnancy may affect the your well being and the health of your unborn baby, or could as well cause some complications when it's time for delivery.

That's why it's important creating a dietary timetable of what you're expected to eat. Not just creating it, maintaining it is also very paramount.

Foods that contains essential vitamins, minerals and high water content can proof helpful for pregnant women and that's why I will be sharing today foods that you should include into your diet if you're pregnant.

Dairy Products (Yourgurt)

Dairy products such as yourgurt is very good source of calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and vitamin B. Taking this product will improve the growing fetus. Dairy products further contains some essential proteins such as casein and whey.

Regular consumption this probiotic dietary supplement such as yogurt help reduce the risk of complications during pregnancy.

Legumes

Peanuts, beans, soybeans, lentils are all rich source of folate (vitamin B9) which is an important supplement that is very important for pregnant women. low birth weight and neural tube has linked to lack of folate intake pregnant women.

Legumes also contains some important minerals like iron, potassium amongst other which is also good for the body.

Sweet potatoes

This is also another food that I will recommend for women to take during this pregnancy period. It's a good source of vitamin A (beta-carotene). Am choosing sweet potatoes instead of another source of vitamins A such as animal this time around as its the best and safer choice.

Other source of vitamins A found in foods like animals may contain toxins that can be harmful to the genral growth and development of the fetus and the mother.

Other Foods good for pregnancy women include leafy greens, salmon, broccoli, lean meats, eggs, whole grains.

Finally improve your intake of water it will help a lot.
