Hello dears Steemians, this time I present my participation in the Steemit Weekly Health Challenge in your week #3 initiative sponsored by friends @healthsquared and @sweetsssj. For this week we need to tell you how we can de-stress. What activity or sport do we do to clear ours minds both physically and emotionally? Stress is a disease that many of us don't take into account, but it is extremely important for our health. If we live stressed and overwhelmed all the time our bodies will sooner or later reproach us, because the state of physical and mental exhaustion does not allow us to feel good about ourselves.

From my point of view as a full-time worker plus taking on the big task of being a mother of 3 young children, I often experience high stress levels. The tension that gripped my shoulders and back was unbearable. To solve it I tried to relax, take a bath in hot water and lie down sometimes it worked but the same hectic life of being a mother didn't allow me to relax completely so I could never be 100% stress-free. And you may wonder what you're doing to relieve yourself of the stress of such a busy life? Well, playing and laughing out loud with my kids is one of the best experiences I've ever had. The first few times I did it I was amazed at how good I felt, I was super relaxed and the change of mood was incredible. Well, I'll tell you that for little kids, running around and tickling is one of the best games you can play, no matter if you're at home, in a park or at the mall they'll always enjoy it and so will you. We used to throw ourselves on the floor of the room and together we all started to play and tickle each other everywhere, some in the belly, others in the back, in the neck, anywhere. We take turns getting ticklish from more smallest to the largest. There are times when we are on top of each other and it makes the experience more fun. Plus you're stress-free and share with your kids at the same time.

In case you didn't know it (as I did until recently), laughing out loud is very beneficial for both physical and mental health. The moment we laugh our body secretes endorphins better known as the happiness hormones so we expel all the negative energy that is charged with, relieves depression so that it will increase your levels of confidence and self-esteem. Laughing also prevents heart attacks, rejuvenates the skin, strengthens the immune system and more. When we laugh we strengthen and move around 230 muscles so that these muscles relax and contract constantly giving us an additional physical benefit to our body. The more we laugh, the better we will feel and feel physically and emotionally well.

This technique has worked very well for me, I hope you will apply it
and make the most of its benefits. We'll read each other next time.
