RE: The Story of How The World's Clean Water Was Stolen! Nestle Say That Water Cannot Be Free! + Tapped - Full Documentary.
Water is the next oil and much more than that. I agree with your sentiments 100 percent.
On the other hand for those that can see it, it is a great investment opportunity in the long run. Don't hate me for that.
There's nothing wrong with investing in your own home planet - but controlling the essence of life is not a way to do that.
You are again absolutely right. As the planet population increases and people start living in places that are not near water resources, there will be a cost to provide water to these populations.
The water resources and the lands that hold these resources are being bought up. The bush family is an investor in such areas. Water will be the most precious resource. I was recently in the deserts of Middle East. I think I saw what the future holds for water business. I would hate to see this go into the hands of Big business but I don't think there is any stopping it.
When I am in St Martin or St Bart's I see the whole island being supplied with water from reverse osmosis and it is affordable to some extent.
We willl need to develop processes to make ocean water drinkable. Then transport it to large populations. I don't see a way out. Emotionally I am outraged but the solutions to these issues are problematic and complex. This problem is a crisis in many countries. It is coming here and no one is talking about it. By the time it hits awareness, resources would all be gobbled up by big money. I sincerely thank you for bringing this topic up.
I think these towers are probably the best solution I have seen to the absence of water: http://www.warkawater.org/warka-tower/
