I Can Help You Survive This Toxic Landscape and Still Enjoy Modern Life!

Hey Steemians, my name is Rob! I've wanted to get started on Steemit for a long time, because I've got a wealth of information that I can't wait to share with everyone on here. I've been a health blogger for awhile writing about stuff you definitely wouldn't find in Men's Health magazine. Though I generally eat a Paleo diet, I tweak my diet and lifestyle recommendations for our compromised bodies in our toxic modern world—which afflicts most people these days, whether they know it or not.

I write from years of personal experience and refer to well-researched corroborating information from trusted sources. When giving information about a health issue, I normally will not post about someone else's findings without personal experience and verification. So when I recommend a supplement, I've tried it myself and found it to be excellent.

I'm not a medical doctor or making a living as a personal trainer. I'm just a regular guy who got really physically sick from toxins and other environmental stressors, consumed, inhaled, and/or absorbed from regular FDA-approved food, "safe" buildings, and "safe" electronic devices. I want to help people who have been jacked up by this crap. I want to share what I've learned, so you can avoid experiencing hell on earth while you're still in your 20's or 30's like I did.

Most of all, I want to empower people to take their lives into their own hands. Take your kids back from the nanny state. Take your finances back from the Central Banks. Take your soul back from the technocratic/scientific gods. Take back your destiny. You can't do this if you're struggling to get out of bed every morning. If you haven't got your health, you haven't got anything. Start healing yourself now, and invest in the future.

Hello mwiralganadye! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!

Weocome to Steemit! Its nice to see more health-conscious people joining the platform! We live in a very toxic world now it's like Highlander 2. All we can do is try to find clean water and clean food but it's doable if you're looking in the right places. I commend you for being the change! Thank you! It would be cool to see what you think about our Discord server geared for new steemit users!

Thanks for your thoughtful comment and for reading my post! So many bots here. Haha Highlander 2! Never saw it actually, but I can imagine what kind of plots you might be talking about, because I've seen tons of dystopian movies. Maybe that's why I'm so paranoid? Haha, no. I've really experienced this stuff. I will check out your discord. Is it health-related?

No not health related! However, I am health conscious just not a health nazi like I once was!

Hello, Rob, and welcome to Steemit.

That's very interesting and intriguing intro. I agree that there is much about our current life / lives / lifestyle that is toxic, unhealthy and "hellish." And many people hardly even realize it, so any advice will be welcome – not to mention necessary.

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.

Hope this helps for now. Good luck, and Full Steem Ahead!
