HEALTH:: arthritis
Arthritis is one of more than a hundred joint diseases. Arthritis victims suffer pain, stiffness and swelling in their joints. Many people suffer from arthritis disability.
Arthritis and rheumatism are used interchangeably. However, the word rheumatism is more general, referring to many types of arthritis, muscle and connective tissue. See: Rheumatism. The two main forms of arthritis are osteoarthritis (osteoarthritis), the most common, rheumatoid arthritis, the second common type.
Orthopedic Arthritis. It is also called arthritic disease, occurs when the joint takes in corrosion. Many older people have osteoarthritis, and may also occur if the joint is injured several times. The most affected joints are joints of the hands, hips, knees, lower back and neck. May result in severe obstruction, especially if the hips and knees are severely ill.
Patients with osteoarthritis experience pain in the affected area, and may experience a sense of rheumatism or friction when they move. In osteoarthritis, the cartilage degrades between the bones, making the bones intertwine. Bone ligaments and cartilage may develop in the joint, causing swelling and deformation.
Arthritis bone can not be cured. Doctors seek to relieve pain and prevent the patient from becoming disabled. Treatment includes drugs, especially aspirin, and specially designed exercise programs. The orthopedic surgeon may repair the sharp joint or replace it with one made of metal, plastic or other materials.
Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is usually called the biggest obstacle. The most victims are between the ages of 20 and 40, but it may affect children and the elderly.
Arthritis joints are rheumatic, hot, painful, red and swollen. This disease mainly affects the wrists and stitches, but may occur in any joint. In many cases, rheumatoid arthritis occurs throughout the body causing damage to organs and connective tissue. If left unchecked, the diseased joints may eventually become dislocated. Rheumatoid arthritis may remain throughout the patient's life and may disappear for varying periods of time.
In rheumatoid arthritis, eat inflamed tissue and other substances in the joint of the bone and cartilage. Doctors believe that the disease is caused by microorganisms or autoimmune (body attack on the same tissue), or both. See: Immunity. Some people inherit a tendency to rheumatoid arthritis. Doctors try to prevent the disease from impeding its victims. It includes treatment, comfort, and special exercises, aspirin, and other drugs. In severe cases, injection may be used in a gold vehicle. The joint can be replaced or damaged.
Other images from arthritis. Include gout, rheumatoid spondylitis, and septic arthritis. Gout victims experience painful swelling, but feel better between seizures. First, the proximal joint that connects the big toe to the foot is affected in most cases. Gout causes an excess amount of uric acid in the blood. During the seizure, the acid is in the form of sharp crystals in the joints. Some people inherit gout. Alcoholic beverages and fatty food can lead to a bout of frenzy in people with gout, but they do not cause the disease. Doctors prescribe drugs to reduce inflammation and prevent additional attacks. See: Gout.
Rheumatoid spondylitis mainly affects young men. The joints of the spine are inflamed, and the patient develops a hardened back. Most patients have a rare blood type called HLAB-27. Physiotherapy treatment and drugs include.
The septic arthritis Vzbbh bacteria. The most common forms occur after pneumonia or skin inflammation, joint surgery or several sexual diseases. In most cases, early treatment of antimicrobial drugs prevents disability.
