Carrot History: Carrot is a multicoloured vegetable and has been found in yellow, purple and white colour, but todays Orange carrots predominate the world, carrots may have originated in an area which was India, Pakistan, Afganistan
and Northern Iran. It's spread to all the eastern Mediterranean, Western Europe, Japan and China.

Stick Of Carrots: Some of the children hate eating carrots. therefore we need to follow the carrot policy in various tactical ways. Carrots easily camouflaged and incorporated into our cooking. Cooking them in more appetising manner-Mash boiled dal and cooked carrots together, to make an homogeneous paste,the paste will be now blended in gravies and soups
or any similar dish, it can also used as thickening agent into many side dishes. Cooked and mashed carrots csn be blended into custards and kheers. Grated carrots can also used in Raithas and Salads to add taste and for color, grated carrots can also sprinkel on the bread to making of vegetable sandwiches.

Orange in color and innocuous in appearance, it's a gold mine of nutrition! it's true that an apple a day keeps doctor away the same job a few carrots does, at cheaper price! Carrot are known as nutritional heroes, they are crunchy, good snacks any time a day, it's fits perfectly into our healthy lifestyle.

Nutrients: Carrots are rich in antioxidant beta carotene, calcium, potassium, glutahione, phytochemicals, alpha carotene and vitamins A, B1, B2, C, & E. Cooked carrots are excellent source of potassium, folic acid, cooper, magnesium and it contain vitamin B6. Carrot is rich elements which purify & revitalize the blood, it's also contain, in smaller amounts essential oils, carbohydrates and nitrogenous composites, carrots are known for their sweetening, diuretic, anti-anemic healing, re-mineralising and sedative properties. Carrots also contains iron, magnesium, copper, manganese, sulphur and phosphorus.
It's better composition than any wonder drug.

Fights Diseases: Carrot prevents various gastrointestinal complaints like ulcer & colic, carrot also prevents heart attacks, In carrot the vitamin A is essential vision of dim light and also for the healthy skin. Raw grated carrot applied as compress to the burns for soothing effects. Carrot soup is known as to relieve diarrhoea and also it's helps with tonsilitis. Chewing a carrot immediately after meal kills all harmful germs into the mouth, it cleans teeth, removes the food particals lodged in the crevices & prevents bleeding of gums and tooth decay. Eating carrots is good for allergies, rheumatism and aneamia. For nervous system carrot is good tonic.

I love carrots infact my mom makes a sweet dish out of carrot and I remember there was a TV show where they boiled carrots smashed it and sprinkled cheese on it ... will try the carrot and cheese one day

I use carrot oil in my beauty routine. In summer, I apply it on the skin before going to the beach, it is ideal for a very healthy tan. The skin is very hydrated. Carrot oil contains many nutrients such as betacarotene and vitamin E, and is an excellent remedy for beautiful and healthy hair.

I also love salads with white cabbage and carrots.
