Breast Cancer : Symptoms, Risk Factors, And Treatment
Cancer is uncontrolled cell growth and proliferation. This disease can affect almost all members of the body. The growing cells often invade the tissue surrounding them and can cause excretions that appear elsewhere in the site. Many cancers can be prevented by avoiding exposure to common risk factors, such as tobacco smoke. A large proportion of cancers can be treated by surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy, especially if detected early.
Breast cancer :
Is a disease that affects women in particular, but it can also affect men, albeit at a much lower rate.
Doctors have recently achieved significant advances in early detection and treatment of breast cancer, reducing the number of deaths from the disease.
Breast cancer screening previously meant complete mastectomy. Today, these operations are rarely performed, as there is a wide range of treatments available.
Breast cancer :
means that a number of breast cells are beginning to multiply abnormally. These cells divide more rapidly than healthy cells and can begin to spread (metastasis) throughout the breast tissue, into the lymph nodes and even to other organs in the body. The most common type of breast cancer starts in the glands of milk production, but it is also possible to start in one sub-lobes (Lobe) or in other breast tissue. In most cases, it is not clear why healthy cells in the breast tissue turn into cancerous cells.
Causes of breast cancer :
Inheritance:
Only 5% - 10% of breast cancer cases have genetic causes. Some families have a gene defect, one or two genes, BRCA 1, BRCA 2), and this is the risk of exposure of her sons and daughters to breast cancer or ovarian cancer. Other genetic defects:
Ataxia - telangiectasia mutation gene, gene kinase - CHEK - , And gene P53, the gene responsible for tumor inhibition - all increase the risk of breast cancer. If one of these genetic defects is present in your family, there is a 50% chance that Present for you too have.
Most of the genetic defects associated with breast cancer are not inherited. The cause of these acquired defects may be due to radiation exposure - women who have been treated with radiation in the chest area to treat lymphoma in childhood or adolescence, breast development and development, Have a very high incidence of breast cancer among women who have not been exposed to such radiation.
Symptoms of breast secretion secretion :
- Transparent or similar to the blood of the nipple, sometimes appears with the appearance of the tumor in the breast
- The nipple is retracted or mastered
- Change the size or features of the breast
- Flatten or whiten the skin covering the breast
- The appearance of redness or something like a wrinkled skin on the breast surface, such as orange peel.
- Other medical conditions, other than breast cancer, can lead to changes in breast size or tissue. Breast tissue changes, of course, during pregnancy and during menstruation.
Other possible causes of non-cancerous (benign) tumors in the breast include:
- Fibrocystic changes
- Tic (appearance of cysts - Cyst)
- Fibroenoma
- Pollution or injury.
- If you notice a lump or change, however, in your breast - even if the result of recent mammography (mammography) is intact - you should contact your doctor to assess the situation.
Unfortunately, there are no medicines ...
Surgery :
Complete mastectomy has become a rare procedure today. Instead, most women are excellent filters for partial eradication (the infected part of the breast) or for tumor removal only.
If you decide to have a complete mastectomy, you may later consider a breast reconstruction.
Surgical procedures for the removal of cancerous tumors in the breast include:
Resection of cancerous tumors
Surgical procedures for cancerous resection are always followed by radiation treatments to destroy any cancerous cells that may have remained in place.
However, if the tumor is small and not invasive, some studies ask about the need for radiation therapy, especially when it comes to older women.
These studies have not been able to prove conclusively whether tumor removal followed by radiotherapy certainly contributes to the extension and improvement of patients' lives, compared with those who have undergone tumor resection only.
Prevention is better than cure :
Changes in lifestyle
- Taking some steps to change your lifestyle can be a powerful factor in reducing your risk of breast cancer.
- Ask your doctor about aspirin
- Avoid alcohol
- Maintain a healthy weight
- Avoid long-term hormonal treatments
- Regular physical activity
- Eat food rich in dietary fiber
- Increase the consumption of olive oil
- Avoid exposure to insecticides.
New research :
Scientists continue to research in an effort to develop possible preventive treatments to prevent breast cancer, including:
- Retinoids
- Seeds of flax.
Many women after mastectomy are totally psychologically ill feel that they are incomplete. ......... with the perfection of God
Thank you very much for follow-up and God heal every patient healing doesn't leave a place and peace and God's mercy and blessings .

@Igider Good Article about breast cancer!
Commented, Upvoted, Resteemed!
As you said Breast Cancer is a main concern in woman's health, being also a smart percentage of incidence on men also. Besides this, early detection is one of the best ways to prevent this type of cancer to have fatal consequences, for this reason is a good recomendation to practice an autoexam on a monthly basis, 3 to 5 days after the period starts.
God Bless Us All!
Thank you so much .
