To find out the needs of a sick person, first you must ask important questions and then examine him carefully. Then you look for signs and symptoms that help you tell how sick the person is . Always examine the sick person where there is a good light don't try to examine sick people where there is darkness

1 What bother you most right now?

2 what makes you feel better?

3 when did you start feeling sick?

4 Have you had this same sickness before?

Ask other questions in other to know more about the illiness

look at the sick person carefully observe how sick is he, the way he moves, how he breathes look for signs of dehydration check is weight when a person has loose weight slowly over a long period of time he may have a chronic illness

Also check the skin color and eyes healthy black can hide color changes behind it look at the parts where the skin is paler you can check the palms of the hands, the finger nails

paleness maybe a sign of anemia

Blueness may be a sign of breathing problem

yellow color maybe a result from diseases in the liver

Try to check the temperature if there is no thermometer you can get an idea of the temperature my putting the back of your hand on the sick person's forehead and the other on your own

other possible causes

common cold

Typhoid

Tuberculosis

when you know the condition is getting worst you can call for emergency or get some home remedy
