Increasing the production of poultry and livestock and the use of harmful antibiotics and chemicals in fattening. The harmful substances in the human body are also consumed by eating milk, eggs or meat of these animals. As a result, the health hazard is increasing due to the reduction of human immune system. In 2010, prohibition of use of harmful antibiotics and hormones in the wild animals is not accepted.

Research projects include the use of herbal plants as an alternative to harmful antibiotics and hormones, by increasing processing of nutrients and quality of fodder by feeding and inventing sustainable and productive new varieties of native sheep variety. For the next three years the research will be done for the funding of Farm Gate Agricultural Research Foundation. It is estimated to cost about 25 million taka.
As the main researcher of the three projects at the beginning of the inauguration ceremony, the teacher of the department of animal health Mohammad al-Mamun and Md. Mohiuddin and animal reproduction and cognition. Munir Hossain presented three essays and research plans.
Researchers Al-Mamun said, 'An alternative to planting plant named Platine as an alternative to harmful antibiotics is identified and established. Which acts as an antibiotic, increases the production of meat but does not harm the human body. This study should be compared to the alternative of antibiotics of herbal remedies such as herbal remedies, aloe Vera, discus, koala, name and onion and garlic leaves.

Presided over by Maya Kandace, Director of Bangladesh Agricultural University Research System, the Vice Chancellor of the university as the chief guest inaugurated. Ali Akbar was present. Besides, the Vice-Chancellor as Honorable Guest Jasimuddin Khan and Program Director of Agriculture Research Foundation Kazi Kamaruddin, Environmental expert of livestock department Khan Shahidul Haque were present as special guests.
After the opening ceremony a scientific workshop was held on research material. Dean, departmental head, teachers, researchers, farm and research institutions and postgraduate students from different faculties participate in this.
