Problem of excessive sweating

in #health6 years ago

Strong sweating, the causes of which are often unknown to us, usually happens because our body tries to protect us from cooling. Of course people who faced with it cannot understand what kind of protection it is if they cannot put your hands up and even handshakes are uncomfortable to you. It is called hyperhidrosis and most importantly it can signal some diseases.

It is a problem very familiar to many. With the allocation of sweat, your body performs the function of cooling. However, in some cases, the release of sweat exceeds natural norms, and without any objective reasons. The causes of sweating can be very diverse.

Main reasons:

Emotional disorders. An anxiety often provokes panic and, as a result, increased sweating. Elevated doses of sweat are secreted during mental disorders and emotional instability. Often people sweat heavily in stressful situations, as well as in a state of depression or depression.

Health problems. It can be a sign of the presence of a disease, for example, diabetes, lung or heart disease, Parkinson's disease or even cancer. Sometimes excessive sweating accompanies the presence of a serious infectious infection, in particular tuberculosis. If you started sweating strongly without visible physical exertion, and regardless of the weather conditions, you should immediately consult a doctor to find out the reasons.

Hormonal disorders. Hormonal bursts are usually observed in women during menopause, hot flashes are often accompanied by redness of the skin. Pregnancy largely affects the hormonal background, so increased sweating in pregnant women is not uncommon. In addition to hormones, the presence of extra weight and increased microcirculation of blood affect the operation of the sweat glands.

If you notice that you started to sweat more because of taking any drug, but are not completely sure about it, seek advice from a specialist who can establish the correct diagnosis. At the doctor's appointment, be sure to bring along a complete list of medications that you are taking. If the cause of excessive sweating is really covered in taking the medicine, the specialist will write you other means.

Overweight. With excess weight the body has a hard time, to maintain body weight; a man has to spend several times more energy and strength than with a normal weight. In such cases, it is recommended to change your lifestyle, start playing sports, and try to follow a balanced diet.

Undesirable sweating not only causes discomfort, but also often causes feelings of depression and estrangement. Fortunately, this problem is not eternal, do not hesitate to seek help from specialists, a professional will help to identify the causes of your problem and tell you how to get rid of it.

Anhidrosis:

Absence of sweating. Currently, it is treated as the inability of the body to produce and (or) excrete sweat on the surface of the skin. The condition can be caused either by underdevelopment of nerve elements, or by insufficient activity of sweat glands. Constant anhidrosis is usually accompanied by disorders of the second structure of the skin and is observed in a number of syndromes, acute lung cancer.

Insufficient separation of sweat oligohydrosis is observed in elderly people, in patients with ichthyosis. Treatment involves the use of vitamin A in large doses with simultaneous injection of vitamin B12. Locally recommended is rubbing emollient creams, vaseline oil.

Hydradenite:

Purulent inflammation of the glands, more often in the subclavian cavity, less often in the second areas of the skin that contain the apocrine glands (in the region of the anus, the labia, the nipple of the breast). The development of the disease is facilitated by: increased sweating, slovenliness, the presence of itching dermatoses. Symptoms and course: First, in the depth of the subcutaneous fat there is a painful compression when pressed, which subsequently increases, often matures the size of a chicken egg.
