They've become more and more popular in recent times.
Before making a decision to modify your skin, its important to understand the adverse effects associated with the procedure.

• Pain, redness and swelling of the skin: This occurs days to weeks after getting a tattoo.
Note that tattooing isn't done with anaesthetics and pain is ineveitable.

• Development of allergic reactions: Some people are allergic to the tattoo dyes which presents as rash on the tattoo site. This can occur years after getting a tattoo.images (7).jpg

•Increase risk of developing skin infections specially from staph skin infection and skin tuberculosis. The picture below is an example of a tattoo skin infectionfd355a7936e9fe50769b73fad7fb801f.jpg

•Formation of keloids on tattoo sites, this is aethetically unpleasant.

•Complications during medical procedures such as an MRI test;the metal based dyes react with future magnetic resonance imaging studies.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

This occurs days to weeks after getting a tatoo.
It should be tattoo instead of tatoo.
