N E W S T A R T- A HEALTHFUL GUIDE
Hello friends, just thought I should share this write up as my contribution to healthful living. Health is wealth is a popular saying and in a few lines, the Acronym - N E W S T A R T, will be demystified. Enjoy the time.
NUTRITION - Your daily nutritional intake should strive for a balanced diet. You must also consider the uniqueness of your body and your environment . Your work type also should be put into consideration while making a list of your daily nutritional intake. In some cases consult your nutritionist for some professional help. The bottom line is, let your daily diet be balanced.
EXERCISE - This is another essential area you must pay attention to. Exercises range from mild ones to very straining work outs. You are not advised to strain your self as simple brisk walks, breathing exercise, cycling, swimming could do the job. It helps to improve proper blood circulation, muscles flexibility and enhances relaxation, even to your sex life( proper blood circulation). Engage yourself at least three times a week, 15-20 minutes daily. Now go keep fit.
WATER - We are encouraged to take at least 3-4 litres(about 15 cups) of water for the males and about 2-3 litres(about 11 cups) of water for the females and for children 5-11 cups per day considering their ages, gender and climate. Water consists over 60% of our total body weight, helping in food transportation and is also a cleanser. Replace your other unhealthy drinks with water. Drink to health.

SUNLIGHT - The sun is not only our planet's major source of energy, It is an all important source of life on earth. Your body requires a good exposure to averagely mild sunlight. It is a facilitator for the secretion of vitamin D, it also attacks bacteria thriving on the skin's surface. It improves your skin tone and provides you with warmth. Exposing your rooms to sunlight helps fight bacterial growth, keeping it fresh. Over exposure is not healthy especially under the intense one. Sun up your life.

TEMPERANCE - There should be moderation in all you do. Knowing your limits is key to everything you do. Don't over eat, don't over exercise, don't over drink water, don't over talk etc. The key word here is SELF CONTROL.
AIR - We can't breathe without air(oxygen) supply, this is fundamental. We are to expose ourselves to clean air, plenty of air, taking deep breaths ,keeping the air around us fresh. Go out to natural places like the beach, open green fields etc. Oxygen is needed for body metabolism and basically survival. Don't get choked.
REST - This is one aspect of life grossly neglected especially in our today's fast paced world. The body has it's own clock like you have your traditional clock. When you don't catch adequate rest timely ,the losses are numerous. An adult is advised to catch up to 8 hours mostly beneficial from 10pm to 6am, while children should have up to 10hours sleep; 8pm to 6am best. The nervous wreck you subject your body to for lack of rest is incalculable as it could even lead to untimely death. Also try to catch rest intermittently as required.

TRUST IN GOD - Trust no one is a cliche, but we can't really run our lives successfully without trust on fellow humans let alone God. Trusting in God means He is our source of living. In God we trust.
I hope you find these tips healthfully helpful. Thank you.
