Why you should train boxing ?
Firstly, i am talking about boxing for everyone including young, old, men, women, fit or not it doesn't matter as long as you have a little bit of good will and desire to add some new skills and remarkable experiences to your lives. I will give you 6 reasons why you should start to train boxing.
No.1 Boxing is fun
First of all, to do something new for me the main reason to do it is that it has to been interesting or funny so you could enjoy in it. Putting some gloves and doing some punches on bag or mitts with your friends is really funny I can tell you because I have never seen some new member with boxing gloves that doesn't have a smile on his face. The good thing about boxing is that there are lot of variation of boxing trainings, it never gets the same and it's always about adding something new.
No.2 Boxing is a full body workout
Including both cardio and strength exercises boxing is one of the sports that takes the most athleticism. Training boxing make active a whole body including not only arms what probably some of you think. Boxing demands a non-stop movement while throwing punches and holding arms high as it is possible so it aquire a good physical condition but don't be afraid as long as it aquire it means that it gives something back too. After few trainings you will see consequnces as your balance, coordination, endurance, strength, agility and speed improves.
No.3 Boxing makes you feel better
Boxing is a great way to get rid of negative energy. We all feel bad sometimes and instead of desperately lying in front of TV and binge eating it is better to move on and do something for ourselves. When you put your gloves on problems disappear and I gurantee you that after training you will at least feel refreshed, more calm, confident and less stressful with higher self esteem.
No.4 Boxing not only improve you physical but also mental strength
Boxing is equally mental as it is physical sport. In the beginning when it is time for sparring you get that scary feeling that someone is going for you but it is the key for you to persist and deal with it same as it is about real life problems. Sometimes it is good to absorb some punch so you could feel more ''alive'' and learn important life lesson about how to keep going when you or your feelings are hurt.
No.5 Boxing makes you more humble
In boxing you always feel your adrenaline rush which gives you a boost especially when you think that you are better than someone who is standing in front of you but you are also aware that a small mistake could lead things go in reverse way that you imagine so you need to be careful. That is the feeling that make people respect and treat anyone equally putting themselves in a second plan.
No.6 Boxing gives you ability to defend yourself
The main principle of boxing is to avoid and deliver punches so boxing is effective way of self-defense. How to defense you will not overcome through punching bag or mitts, but through sparring. It is a great way to look fear into the eyes and to understand some real threat and how to persist it. Through sparring you will learn how to control your movement and when to go back or go in to throw some punches to get rid of the danger.
