RE: How to get your mercury fillings safely removed, to ensure no further damage to your health.

Great post! I am glad you are talking about this issue because there are still so many people who don’t know they have toxic substances in their mouth that they are using to chew all of their food.

I actually went to a naturopath dentist last year to have mine removed. It was a crazy experience to see everyone in hazmat suits... makes you realize how dangerous this stuff really is. The process was exactly how you described, right down to the activated charcoal.

Getting this removal done is really worth it and I would encourage everyone with mercury fillings to do so if they can. You never know how having those things in your mouth is impacting your overall health.

@kaykunoichi have you gotten this done as well? I feel like it’s rare to meet someone who has!

YES! i was one of those people who didn't know amalgam fillings were made from mercury :O I had mine for 17 years and had them out a few weeks ago because of a post I saw on STEEMIT :D And now I will not stop going on about it, I am even working to get them banned in my country (New Zealand) because they are still putting them in kids mouths. I was bed ridden for 6 months pretty much, they thought I had either MS or a tumor because my symptoms were so crazy. My severe fatigue has died down a lot, but i'm starting chelation therapy soon as my hair tests also revealed lead & aluminum. So crazy that metals are so overlooked as a health problem. How are you feeling since your removal? Yeah your right the process of getting them removed is so important because of how toxic they are, I know a few people who have gotten super sick from dentists thinking they can pull them out like regular fillings. Glad you're mercury free :)

Wow, your story gave me chills. I’m so glad that you were able to figure out what was happening and that you are recovering! What a terrible ordeal you went through.I can definitely see why you’d be trying to spread this information. Keep up the great work!

I felt pretty healthy before, and so I didn’t have a dramatic shift, but I’m so glad I got it done.

Yeah even just the peace of mind of not having them is great! xx
