Yes dear, you are right, Alopecia actually means hair lose, it has many causes.
Unlike others, Alopecia areata is autoimmune mediated hair loss usually self limited but could need treatment with topical steroid or other teatment.

      I think you will have enough time, STEEM will stay down for next week or tow , just my opinion don't depend on it please, try to ask expert steemian.

        Relax @immarojas, there is a lot of STEEM for sell right now (some whales powering down), when this massive sell out dray up, i think STEEM will go back fast to around 14k, i am not sure and no guarantee but i hope so.
