Kidney stone treatment

I recently had a kidney stone and was given drugs for it, but people kept telling me about the giant tubs of water where they hit you with sound waves to break it down.

Science has progressed since the tub thing.

It's actually a tube now that hits only the stone with sound waves so that's the only area that gets bruised.

It still takes an hour though. So that sucks.
