Introduction
The mind and the body work in great synergy and balance as one, a healthy mind makes for a healthy body, and a healthy body makes for a healthy mind. What defines a man’s body is Testosterone and Cortisol. Two essential hormones each serving a very specific and essential purpose. Your goal for healthy living should be to increase your free testosterone and decrease cortisol – I will explain how to do it and shed light on why what you may have discovered through observation and experience, can be explained by scientific facts. To keep it short, I will focus more on T levels, and much less on Cortisol. As a general rule – More T means less Cortisol, and More Cortisol means less T. They are on the opposite ends of a scale which needs to be tipped in your favor.
What is testosterone?
As a white shark patrols the waters, something distinguishes from it’s next meals – lots of testosterone. What is testosterone? It is an Androgen created in the testes responsible for producing male characteristics. Why should it matter? Testosterone is life for humanity at it’s essence, it is reproduction, it is health, it is appearance, it is calmness, and it is frame.
Why Has a Change Occurred?
A species main purpose is to survive and reproduce – as the intelligent creatures that we are – we have exploited this basic fact to enhance our food gathering abilities, this happened at a price far too heavy for us to pay. Pesticides are chemically created to counter male parasite’s sex hormones and as result the species will fail to reproduce. We fuck with nature to grow more crop, then feed this very crop to our own children source source. Chickens and cows are ingested with female hormones to grow larger breasts, mature sooner and produce more milk source. The same hormones are passed to us when we consume the meat. Society has been emasculated not only through ideology, but through the food that has been fed to us for decades. There has been a steady decline in men's reproductive hormones observed and documented over the previous decades, this dates back since mid 20th centure link. But that’s not all that’s happened, women have also become less feminine due to the food that they have been fed – we are rapidly approaching a single unisex lacking duality due to the introduction of artificial hormones in our food as well as becoming prone to unhealthy less physical living as a result of enhanced technology. What we would like to believe as intelligent and more efficient living, is rapidly leading us to the extinction of our species.
How to boost TESTOSTERONE naturally?
Loose weight
If you're overweight, shedding the excess pounds may increase your testosterone levels, according to research presented at the Endocrine Society's 2012 meeting. Overweight men are more likely to have low testosterone levels to begin with, so this is an important trick to increase your body's testosterone production when you need it most.
If you are serious about losing weight, you have got to strictly limit the amount of processed sugar in your diet, as evidence is mounting that excess sugar, and fructose in particular, is the primary driving factor in the obesity epidemic. So cutting soda from your diet is essential, as is limiting fructose found in processed foods, fruit juice, excessive fruit and so-called "healthy" sweeteners like agave.
Eat healthy fats
Testosterone is derived from cholesterol, so it should come as no surprise that if your diet is lacking in cholesterol, you're also more than likely shortchanging yourself when it comes to the muscle-building hormone. Previous research has demonstrated a strong relationship between HDL cholesterol levels and free testosterone levels.
Work out with free weights on multiple join movements
Just as your diet has a major influence on testosterone levels, so does how you train. Research has proven time and time again that high-intensity weight training (choosing weights so that you reach muscle failure by 10 reps) can stimulate increases in testosterone secretion. However, you must also choose the right exercises and the right tools of the trade if you want to take full advantage of this T-boost. Essentially, the more muscle mass you stimulate, the more testosterone you'll secrete. A recent study conducted on trained subjects showed that squats stimulated a greater testosterone response when compared to leg presses.10 Stick with multijoint exercises like squats, bench presses, and deadlifts - you will find in my next posts how to perform them correctly so follow me —as they are prime examples of the kinds of compound lifts that'll help significantly jack up your testosterone levels! Since machines better isolate a muscle you're working (less stabilizer activity), they're not as good a choice compared to free weights.
Sleep is cruical
A lack of quality sleep can dramatically diminish the amount of testosterone your body produces, thereby reducing muscle growth and fat loss! Research has demonstrated that the amount of sleep you get is associated with morning testosterone levels. Researchers at the University of Chicago recorded the sleeping patterns of healthy men and found that participants' testosterone levels increased the longer they slept. I recommend 7-9 hours of sleep per night to optimize the testosterone response.
Reduce everyday stress as much as possible
Stress can cause lower testosterone levels and then turn into a vicious cycle — the lower testosterone level can cause stress, which can cause testosterone numbers to drop even lower. Some of the side effects of stress, such as the lack of motivation to exercise and poor sleep, can also contribute to lower-than-normal testosterone levels. On the flip side, managing your stress levels can help improve symptoms of low testosterone. "Lowering stress can help improve sexual function, decrease moodiness, and help men sleep better,” says Gregory Lowe, MD, a urologist at Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University in Columbus.
Consume TEST boosting ingredients
ZINC
Zinc is an essential mineral that plays a critical role in testosterone production. Mild zinc deficiency, commonplace among men and women in the United States, has been associated with suppressed testosterone concentrations. A notable study out of Wayne State University in Indiana found that older men who had a mild zinc deficiency significantly increased their testosterone from 8.3 to 16.0 nmol/L—a 93 percent increase!—following six months of zinc supplementation. Researchers of the study concluded that zinc may play an important role in modulating serum testosterone levels in normal healthy men.
D-ASPARTIC ACID (DAA)
D-aspartic acid (DAA) is an amino acid present in neuroendocrine tissues and is believed to impact hormone levels by increasing the activity of testosterone production. In one human study, 23 men were given a daily dose of 3,120 mg of DAA for 12 days, whereas another group was given a placebo. After just 12 days, the subjects supplementing with DAA experienced an increase in testosterone by an average of 42 percent and luteinizing hormone (LH) by an average of 33 percent. The results of this study show that DAA may have a key role in the regulation of the release and synthesis of LH and testosterone in humans.
VITAMIN D
Vitamin D is arguably the most important vitamin when it comes to testosterone. A study published in the "Journal of Clinical Endocrinology" examined the relationship between vitamin D supplementation and testosterone levels in men. The authors found that participants with higher levels of vitamin D had significantly higher levels of free testosterone compared to those with insufficient levels of vitamin D. Based on these study results, it appears vitamin D has a strong relationship with testosterone levels.
