Explaining Hashkings
I’ve been asked to explain the open source mechanics of Hashkings. Namely how does our game work and how is it different than gambling?
We are currently in the beta phase of our architecture. Meaning it’s live and we’re testing it. We currently safely manage roughly 5000 SP via delegations to our automated account. Hashkings gardeners stake 20 SP with us then pay a .5 Steem fee that represents a 2.5% cut for overhead. Now as gardeners take care of their plants they grow points toward votes... distributing the inflation controlled by our collective steem power. This is done by placing our growers as beneficiaries on semi-automated posts, and then voting on these posts.
Additionally, any extra game mechanics purchased contribute to our SP... increasing over time the benefits for everybody involved. Currently witnesses are allowing up to 8 beneficiaries per post so we can reward 80 gardeners per day on 10 posts with full votes.
Gardeners who haven’t achieved enough credits for a payout will just accumulate credits. If this accumulation results in unacceptable average times to payouts we will hope the witnesses increase the beneficiaries to the code allowed 128.
Currently we are selling 4200 plots for growing. This would be managing 84000+ SP, and the longest time to payout could be 4 days, but can be much longer. The grow cycle for cannabis is 14 weeks. As few as one substantial vote during that cycle should pay most of the .5 Steem management fee. But the beauty is you can continue to grow on your plot with either clones or seeds. When you should expect additional votes and receive a proportional payout to the vested SP and the plant actions you can perform on your plot.
In the future additional plots might cost less SP, but will have proportionally less impact on the economy. In this way we can continue to grow our ecosystem in a fair way to our growers.
This is the base mechanic of Hashkings. As our users grow their plants they will be able to perform additional actions to securely acquire in-game items. We hope to build on these additional mechanics to facilitate our growers providing additional user experience through the DLUX ecosystem.
You can play Hashkings at qwoyn.io
The link to Haskings doesn't work.
Fixed maybe? https://www.qwoyn.io/
Yep, that's it.
It should pay out in weed tbh
That's a whole different yard game :p But we'd like to be able to have our ingame market coins be tradable for weed with local partners ;)
