Noncitizens as President?
Kamala Harris, whose formative years were in Quebec, thinks this country is called The United States of The America.
This sort of disconnect from even the most basic aspects of the USA was and is part of the argument against birthright citizenship.
Most countries don’t offer birthright citizenship nor the ability of someone born to noncitizens to be the president or equivalent.
The feelings of voters are clear. There has never been a candidate elected neither of whose parents were born in the USA or what came before it as a British colony.
