Faisal Ahmad Hamadi, who knows a lot about hair, told The Mirror, "There are many reasons why your hair might start getting thin. It could be because of your family history, health problems, medicine side effects, or hormone issues. But there are also things you can do to help."

Why This Helps

Faisal explained to The Mirror, "If you don't pay attention when your hair starts getting thin, it can lead to hair falling out. Some habits like brushing and washing your hair can make it thinner. But if you feel like your hair is getting thinner over time, you can do some things to help."

Faisal said, "To stop hair from getting thin and make it thicker, eat certain foods. Foods with iron, zinc, vitamin B12, and omega-6 fatty acids are good. These foods include dairy products, eggs, walnuts, fruits, and veggies."

Here's Why Hair Gets Thin

Faisal mentioned, "Stress can also make your hair thin, so it's better to avoid stress. To reduce stress, massage your scalp and exercise. Also, don't choose hairstyles that pull on your hair, brush your hair gently, and don't stay out in the strong sun."

In simple words, tight hairstyles like high ponytails can pull your hair and make it thin. Go for looser hairstyles that don't stress your scalp.

Use a special comb when brushing your hair, and choose the right one for your hair and scalp. Don't pull or tug at your hair, especially when it's wet. Faisal also advised staying away from very bright sunlight because it can make you lose hair too.
