yep! I almost got a heart attack. The first time I saw the news about steemit was on HN.
But I am more surprised that no one from Steemit Ic or the general community is completely clueless. I am spellbound. No one including Steve Jobs could make it HN #1 - he actually had to die to reach the #1 spot.
@ned and others, probably this is the biggest success in the PR story of STEEMit after it was first mentioned HN around the time you guys launched it. This is bigger than the wired.com coverage and the wired.com coverage was taken seriously because it was HN in the first place and then probably on ./ (slashdot.org) as well.
