What is GUNZ?

GUNZ is a new type of gaming technology created by Gunzilla Games. It uses blockchain, a special kind of online system, to give players true ownership of their in-game items. Normally, when you earn or buy a cool item in a game, the game company controls it—you can’t sell it outside the game or trade it freely. GUNZ changes that by turning game items into NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), which are digital items you actually own and can trade, sell, or keep forever.

The first game to use GUNZ is Off The Grid (OTG), a cyberpunk-style battle royale. In this game, you can collect special items called HEXes, which can be turned into NFTs and traded with other players. This lets you earn real value from your gaming skills!

Why is GUNZ Different?
You Own Your Items – In regular games, items belong to the developers. With GUNZ, they belong to you.
Play-to-Own – Instead of buying items from the game, you earn them by playing, then trade them if you want.
Fast and Cheap – GUNZ runs on an Avalanche Subnet, which makes transactions super fast and cheap.
Optional Blockchain – If you don’t care about NFTs, you can still play normally—blockchain features are optional.
How Does It Work?
Play Games – Earn or find in-game items (like HEXes in OTG).
Turn Items Into NFTs – If you want, convert your items into NFTs using the GUNZ system.
Trade or Sell – Use the in-game marketplace or other platforms like OpenSea to sell your NFTs for GUN tokens.
Use GUN Tokens – Buy more items, trade with others, or just keep them.
Who Created GUNZ?
GUNZ was developed by Gunzilla Games, a gaming company founded in 2020. Some of the key people behind it include:

Vlad Korolov (CEO & Co-Founder) – Helped create the popular shooter game Warface.
Alex Zoll (CSO & Co-Founder) – Also worked on Warface and guides the company’s strategy.
Neill Blomkamp (Chief Visionary Officer) – A famous Hollywood director (made District 9) who helps design the game world.
