Taman Sari Gunongan was built during the reign of Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636 AD), Taman Sari Gunongan and Kandang is also called the Taman Gairah in the middle of the river flow Darul Asyiqi, the park is in use for the pleasure of Permaisuri Sultan Iskandar Muda, Putri Pahang the child of Sultan Johor. then Kandang in the place of grave Sultan Iskandar Thani son-in-law Sultan Iskandar Muda who ruled in 1636-1642 AD. Sultan Iskandar Thani is a child of Sultan Pahang Malaysia who married Sultanah Safiatuddin Tajul Alam (1642-1673 AD)
