3,245,273 Facebook Users See Ads for Steem on $4,622.37 Ad Spend!

steem video ad 5.png

Will we fund our fifth Steem video ad for Facebook and YouTube which features a pitch to investors named "Which cryptocurrency is the best to buy and hold?" This new video ad covers ten reasons why Steem is the ideal buy and hold inspired originally from the Top 10 Reasons to Buy and Hold Steem! My hope with this video ad is to inspire a few existing cryptocurrency traders to grab some Steem and power it up while also reaching out to new investors just learning about Bitcoin to jump straight into Steem!

As with previous video ad posts as seen at https://airtable.com/shrXuoYTnODWA0QG1, all author rewards from this post will be spent on Facebook and YouTube ads for the post on Facebook and video on YouTube as seen below! To increase the budget for these ads and limit the need to raise money on posts like this, I made a growth project last month following the crowdfunded marketing protocol by @andrarchy asking @Steemit for a regular ad budget every month!

Results

The previous ad campaigns have done amazing on Facebook and YouTube!

  1. 3,245,273 people on Facebook have seen the ads for Steem an average of 3.68 times per person with a budget of $4,622.37 including 3,238 post shares, 14,999 link clicks mostly to Steemit, and 117,456 reactions to the posts most of which are likes!
  2. 101,215 views from ads on YouTube for $1,902.84. YouTube is amazing because these views are resulting indefinitely in more organic views on YouTube after the boost in ranking the videos we advertise receive from all the minutes watched!
  3. Our collective effort funding these ads and sharing these ads with friends has probably resulted in 30,000 to 100,000 new user signups on Steemit since these ads began on June 2, 2017.

Facebook ad results in detail!

YouTube remarketing ads help users seeing previous ads see new ones because it tends to bring a better result to show one person every ad that to just show the ads everywhere!

Thank You!

I am very grateful for the $5000+ we have collectively given in author rewards from upvotes on all my previous posts for Steem ads! Will we continue funding these ads with the author rewards on this post because these ads are reaching a lot of new potential users for a relatively small amount of money?

Love,
Jerry Banfield

What would be, based on your experience, a good FB marketing campaign to do in latin america? I said latin america because my main language is Spanish so I could start covering that part. Would be great to have some guidelines about "what to do" and "what not to do". Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time @jerrybanfield. Nice work!

Its amazing how costly the advertising fees are for facebook . 😞

Nice post AGAIN :D

Hi ,
Thanks for the great content

Just gotta keep on bringing more people over to steemit. I'm opening a restaurant soon which will accept FIAT and SBD in a local mall. My hope is not only to make a profit from running the restaurant but also to increase awareness of Steemit in the local community and show that YES it can be used as currency in addition to being a long-term investment.

That are a lot of new people reached. Good Job!

Mr. Banfield!!

Will you please check out The Steemit Shop?

Shirts, sweats, coffee mugs, mouse pads; all your favorite Steem gear.

Steemit Marketing Goes Animation

Hey Jerry, what do you think about animated marketing videos? I am running the daily Steemy show with an animated puppet. It is easy to do and looks really cool. I am looking to get a foot into the door to so Steemit marketing with that technology.

@flauwy I would love to bring more animation into future ads!

Thanks for your response Jerry. Can you imagine doing some of your videos wit a puppet instead your actual face? We could develop a puppet that eother looks like you or looks entirely different. After the puppet is done you can still produce daily videos screencasts. But you deactivate your webcam and put the puppet over the screencast instead. Have you had a look at one of my puppet videos with Steemy? You can go as complex as you like and each animation is either automatic or just a hotkey away.

Let me know if you want to talk more about this. I am on Steem.chat and Discord.

Using a puppet gives the viewer a totally different relationship to the content compared to a real person speaking. It is much easier to sympathize with a funny puppet than with a person.

Running ads on Facebook is a very good idea @jerrybanfield. I was actually introduced to steemit by someone who came across such ad on Facebook.
With over two billion people on Facebook, these ads are sure to bring more people to steemit. Go on with the ad... You have my upvote!

Sunny thank you very much for letting us know that you found us by someone else that saw the ad on Facebook!

You're welcome sir

Great marketing

Congratulations @jerrybanfield!
