RE: Growth-ideas : Power up Steemit Site Organic traffic 100%
Can you better explain in layman's terms what "trust flow" means. I can look at these plots and honestly dots and a line don't really mean anything. Some site talking about trust flow also doesn't mean anything. It's just words, what does this metric indicate? Is it ACTUALLY important? ( Don't focus on that, focus on explaining what it means ).
Sure. Actually it's from Majestic SEO. We know Google Page rank calculation no more working or not update. in this case. after google latest algorithm update. somehow many companies start researching why site decline even they have a million links. So Majestic.com spend several years and research the metrics. They figure out and make an algorithm and provide a score for good site which called trust flow

So what trust flow indicates for steemit is, that the links it contains are to shitty sites? People authoring content link to untrustworthy crappy sites?
yes it is.
How does steemit Inc do anything about what the community shares? I mean no surprise to me that the content shared is from trash sites considering the amount of conspiracy theory nut job stuff passed around here.
Ok here is some idea. Even steemit inc do not do anything. First, your competitor can hire several negative seo specialists. They can use the different type of software to make bad links. Also any user they never know site quality and share it everywhere. I understand some are of course good site. But with million links. Majestic showing 50% are the good and medium site. And 50% already bad sites. That is why not enough target keyword ranking. It's several thousand random keyword ranking. So steemit need to care about that linking. And link audit too.
