Gratitude Day 33 - The Church Warden
King David said it in the bible that ill rather be a warden than be in the midst of wicked people.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness
Psalm 84:10
My mum is a church warden in the house of God and I feel blessed that a whole family is into the service of God, believe me the work of a church warden or usher can’t be neglected in the house of God. They help to maintain order, decorum and even help in term of security.
Am so grateful for the work of this individual who will decide to stand up all through the church service to make sure the house of God is kept in order, the peace and tranquility you enjoy in the house of God is due to the sacrifice this people are making in the House of God.
Today, I thank God for there life, there sacrifice and this post is just coming in a week after the death of the oldest church warden in Catholic Church of Ondo Diocese in the person of Chief Orunmoluyi, he was decorated by the pope and has received numerous awards, the only church warden to have witness the reign of three bishops.
Am grateful to God for giving us this people who act as the effigy of God among mankind and in selfless service to the work of God
