The story of Midas King leaves us a great reflection; always the path of greed and uncontrolled ambition will leave us things to regret ...

Midas King

Dragons tending the garden with statues;
caring for bronze and weapons of war.

Like a fantasy that is offered as an offering;
that becomes water and becomes dense.

A gargoyle is banished to perpetual exile,
infinite as a galaxy in a parallel cosmos,
surreal as a monarchy without a kingdom.

Take your coins and go where you can pray!

Traveling in the ark of a bewitched king,
a king who turned gold up to his footman to the touch.

And covenant with the devil,
and changed his dragons, and his bronze,
and his palace.

He got the magic, he got the lament,
he got the gift of doing gold until the wind.

And he embraced his ministers and beat his slaves;
and I embrace his people and wash his hands.

Everything became gold; the food, the wine
and the folding of the belfry.

You were the only king of greed,
you condemned your kingdom to the spell of your covenant.

You do not have to eat,
you do not have to steal.

Better:
Take your coins and go where you can pray!
