RE: How Being Grateful in Hard times help

in #gratitude7 years ago (edited)

When the ego is so big, its hard to feel gratitude. I love your article.
Sometimes our hurt feelings is really our hurt ego. when we forget about ourselves and love others selflessly there is no room for your ego and hence no room for annoyance and hurt feelings.
I also recently learned that its so important to interpret things the positive way in regular conversations. A lot of the time when people say stuff to me, i tend to interpret it in the worse possible way. For example, theres a guy on my job who always says to me "don't work too hard". At first i would get irritated, i would wonder who told him i'm working hard? why does he think i'm working hard?. Now when when he says that i just say " ill try not to" or "don't work too hard either".
So if someone makes a mere comment and moves on, you should take it the best way possible and move on also.

You havr articulated it very well. The only one thing one needs to do is being Conscious, when we do that automatically the big picture comes into perspective.
