I think this is a great idea @cabelindsay, in fact I have my Gratitude Journals which I try to write every day and it sounds difficult, but it's not!
I have so much to be grateful for!

    Oh wow, 38 years of marriage! Good work. Plus your son’s wedding is around the corner, and you're finding ample space for creativity, and... You’re so right, you really do have so much to be grateful for. And we all do. And I thank you for recording your gratitude in writing, so we may share in your delight.
