How to Choose the Perfect Graphics Card?

In this, we will see how to choose the best graphics card for gaming. The Best GPU under $100 is amazing and their features are really awesome and there is even the best cheap graphics card for Gaming.

Things to see before Choosing a Graphics Card

  1. GPU (Graphics Processing Unit)- GPU is like a brain of Video Card which performs tasks like manipulating the memory to create images on our screen. They handle graphical processing. There are two brands available in the market (1) Nvidia (2) AMD GPUs. All video cards use either Nvidia or AMD GPUs. Choosing a model number of GPU depends on your budget and why do you want to use? A higher model number indicates a new GPU in the market. GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, GeForce GTX 1080, GeForce GTX 1070, etc., are the examples of the model numbers of Nvidia GPUs. AMD Radeon™ R9 series, AMD Radeon™ R7 series, AMD Radeon™ HD 8000 series, etc., are the examples of the model numbers of AMD GPUs. You can check the new GPUs by clicking the given links: For Nvidia: Click Here For AMD: Click Here

  2. Clock speed: This tells the speed of GPU means how fast GPU can execute instructions. Higher clock speed means faster processing.

  3. Video RAM: Video RAM stores data which are used by GPU for processing. Higher Video RAM impacts frame rate less than the clock speed, but it does help with rendering at higher resolutions.
Note: You should choose GDDR5 VRAM instead of GDDR3 VRAM because GDDR5 is faster in term of speed as compared to GDDR3.

  4. Memory Bandwidth: This tells the speed of VRAM means how fast it can transfer the data. High memory bandwidth is better.

  5. Power requirement: Your PSU (Power Supply Unit) should be capable of providing the minimum power required by the graphics card. You should also check that your PSU has external power connector cable or not for the graphics card. If your PSU has no external power connector for a video card, then you should check for that video card that does not need the external power connector. You can also upgrade your PSU if you have money.

  6. Interface: This is a type of connection used by the graphics card to connect to the motherboard. Most modern graphics cards use PCI Express 3.0 interface, but you can also connect to the PCI Express 2.0 interface. I have used a graphics card with PCI Express 3.0 interface in PCI Express 2.0 interface.

  7. Cabinet: You should also check the size of the graphics card, it should fit comfortably in your cabinet.
