"SEC20/WK5: Graphic Design Hands - On practical 2

I have ran canva . Selected square template of size 1080 x1080. I selected text and choose Head line text box. Typed CHAM and in duplicate box typed PION with different colours RED and YELLOW. I also changed the font and size. I now insert one body text box and type my caption. I again insert one body text box and typed Title with my username.

Step 2

I selected elements and choose a square frame.

Step 3

I downloaded the picture from the tutorial. I selected gallery for the picture from my download file. I made copy of the picture. I also selected transperancy and choose 25 for the duplicate image. Now I enlarge a little bit and place the other copy on it.

Step 4

I selected layer and choose the text box PION. We have to bring the word infront of picture. I selected the position forward. I finally arrived at the desired design.

Principle of the graphic design applied in the above task.

I have emphasized font style and colour for the word CHAMPION. Through out the design a balance have been maintained by positioning the different text box and pictures. I have maintained the hierarchy in the design with extra weight to the elements like frame. Elements spacing have been followed in entire design. I have used different colours for different portions of the word. I have also used the transperancy for highlighting the image as well the concept of alignment and positioning of different layers have also been applied.
