8 deaths in Iraq violence
General Iraqis came out on the streets in protest of a great hostility in the service sector. Their protest is increasingly becoming a violence. The protesters, including the oil field, are also attacking political offices. At least 8 people have died in clashes with law enforcers.
International media reports that the protests started in Basra. Most of Iraq's oil is extracted from this province but it is far behind than other areas of development. Outgoing Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, who gave special money for Basra, and promised local people jobs, wasted the situation.
Although the ongoing protests have begun in Basra, it is spreading gradually in other cities of the country. In the capital city of Baghdad, people are protesting against unemployment, pollution, lack of water and electricity.
Meanwhile, the country's government is increasingly harsh on the increase in protests. So far, at least 8 people have died in clashes with police. Water management has been deployed in various places to control the situation and internet connection has been closed in some areas.
It is known that the General Election was held in Iraq in May this year but the process of voting was not completed yet. In addition, in the 15 years of war, the country has covered corruption and irregularities As a result, Iraqis do not believe in any commitment.
