About Google, the changing reality and the great Game
Polarities once again surpassed themselves and again - it is hardly believable. A game designed for mobile phones by Google is about to make a world revolution in terms of perceiving reality from people and transferring energy into it, overlaying virtual reality in the physical world. The game is called "Ingress" and we have learned about its existence by our reader. Her software uses the principle of added reality, making it virtually the whole world into a gaming battlefield. This can make you travel a lot in the physical world if you want to be successful. The game is currently in beta, but soon every Android smartphone owner will be able to join the "virtual battle" of world domination. Or at least that looks at first glance ...
Let's look at this genius amalgam of occultism and technology (principle seen in the vibration-accumulation-control series) and its possible applications in the programming of the population because it is a step towards the future that the NLP builds for itself and the virtual reality , which we all will soon share.
The story of the game is - in a literal sense - a struggle for global control of consciousness depending on your perspective that will be played in the physical world. There are two factions (of course they will be II ...) or teams you can choose to join and they fight for control. These are the "Enlightened" (think) and "Resistance." After brief training you are given the opportunity to choose one side. Briefly described, the two forces have the following characteristics: The Enlightened are designed to help a multidimensional force infiltrate the Earth. They do this because they believe that "conquerors" will bring "enlightenment" to people and accelerate their evolution. Hmmm, this sounds familiar but right now we do not think ... where have we heard before? ... :))
They accomplish their goals by building energy gates, which in turn exercise control over the minds of the population.
The second group is the one that protects the Earth from the invaders and says "Resistance". Their characteristics are that they fear "progress" or "change," but they stand firmly against their views that they have to protect mankind. This, in turn, refers us to the plot of the "game" and how it all starts.
"Ingress" is a real-time game. The smartphone is the control panel and the main source of information. The virtual world of Ingress is superimposed on the real world and you have to go to the real places in the physical reality to advance in the virtual game.
Initially Ingress introduces you to the main story. And it is that European scientists have discovered a unique energy that can control human consciousness. This is actually a secret experiment in France. The original purpose of the study is to study strange energy anomalies and is conducted by 13 scientists (more coincidences, gasp). Things, however, take a different direction because all this is secretly guided by another parallel project related to multidimensional influence. The multi-dimensional conquerors themselves have no particular visualization but are designed like a virus that conquers the body of a scientist.
One of the most important features and essence of the game is the fact that Energy accumulates only on specific points in the world, which in this case are usually monuments, important places where many people, institutions, etc. are gathering! In order for this energy to be used, a portal should be created at the site. The procedure for creating a portal is as follows: your GPS and camera must work (in real time, not in the game itself), then take a photo with your camera phone, suggest a portal name and send the photo via email at a dedicated address where the photo and its location will be received. A special team will review the data and declare whether the location meets the pre-set criteria to become a gateway. The solutions are within 2-3 weeks, after which there is a need for more portal to become active. Here are some of the key criteria for a specific place to become a portal in the game database: it must be safe and accessible to the population. Examples of such objects are:
statues
unique architecture
External frescoes
historic buildings
special buildings
unique local business complexes
The main goal in the game is to create "control fields" over geographic areas. And the result of the game is measured by the number of people controlled by each faction in these fields. Control fields are formed by conquering portals and then connecting these portals to form the control field. More powerful portals can connect more distant areas (up to hundreds of miles). The area of action of the portal is determined by the strength of the resonators attached to it, and gateways are needed to form connections. The portal key is an object that allows you to create a link to a portal. Such a key can be taken by hacking the portal. Hacking is a mechanism for acquiring items from the portal. You can try to hack any portal, but the probability of acquiring game objects depends on whether the portal is neutral or belongs to one of the two fractions. When the portals are connected in a triangular shape, then a control field is created over the particular region that lights in blue or green. The number of people falling below it is determined on the basis of the population density in that region. Cities have a larger population than rural areas. The main objective is to co-operate with other players in your faction so that you can conquer the world or free it.
Players can "lock" the portals and protect them from attacks to retain control over them. One of the methods is through virtual traps.
If a player gets into such a trap or is attacked by his opponents, his energy will drop. To be able to continue the game, he must collect the so-called "XM Points". This is an abbreviation for "exotic material" scattered across the streets of the virtual city. In fact, if you want to play for a long time, you have to go around the real city so your physical location coincides with the virtual XM crystals (which is coordinated by a real-time GPS system) to restore your virtual health.
In order to avoid physical and other "unpleasant" clashes on the part of the players there are certain rules that must be strictly adhered to in order not to be "deleted" the player prematurely.
The game is already earning revenue for Google because Google has signed partnership agreements with several chain stores and restaurants. In this way, some items and elements of the game will only be available in these places, so players will need to visit them physically. The hopes of the merchants are that while they are there people will enjoy something and buy it. And if gamers do not choose anything, Ingress will tell them they can do it. This is in fact a whole new dimension that opens up to the advertising business. In the near future, Niantic Labs plans to provide software tools for advertising and game development with added reality and other developers to create their own similar products.
Ingress can be played anywhere in the world. Only GPS and mobile Internet enabled. According to one of the creators of the game, one of the main goals of the game is to make people go out and visit interesting places.
Even non-conspirators on the Internet, however, have begun to think about the impact of such a game on everyday life. The sharp rapprochement of boundaries between the real world and the virtual world can have its negative consequences. Casey Newton of CNET, one of the first to have access to the beta version of Ingress, has already ironically commented: "My smartphone captured portals, connected them to remote locations, and in the real world I was just a person standing on corner of the street and avoid passers-by ".
We bring to your attention the trailer of the game, which - to repeat - is played in the real world with an overlayed virtual matrix that is only visible through your smartphone (but certainly the glasses and gloves are no longer a distant idea). Perhaps the clip will give a better idea of the concept itself, and then we will continue with some thoughts. Look at it even if you do not understand English. The very visualization of the idea will explain many things to you if you have encountered a difficulty in understanding the concept of designers so far.
