Sharing interesting information links on the internet has become a habit of netizens. But the shared link is often a long code. The problem seems to be realized by a giant internet company, Google.

In Chrome browser version 64, Google revealed trying to trim the shared links to be more concise. This feature was first discovered by Android Police in the mobile version.

With this feature, when someone shares a link through Google Chrome, then the link address is now shortened. This is true either through the share menu in Chrome or by copying it from the address bar.

Although the link shared automatically becomes shorter, but the recipient of the link can still get the intended site pages.

Unfortunately, as quoted from The Verge, Sunday (25/2/018), Google still leaves a gap weakness. Because there are some views that can not be seen after the link is shortened.

For example, because the loss of anchor tag recipient can not see certain parts in longer articles. So the receiver only gets the view at the top of the page.

The ability to shorten a link's address is just one of several fiur presented by Google on Chrome 64. Previously this browser is also known to have the ability to block ads that appear abruptly, mute video that automatically plays, and support HDR for Windows users. (mag / mag)
