Symptoms of gonorrhea in men and women are not the same. The following are symptoms of gonorrhea in women:
  • Watery, thick, or greenish discharge.
  • Pain or burning when urinating.
  • The urge to urinate more often.
  • Spotting between menstrual periods.
  • Pain during vaginal penetration.
  • Sharp pain in the lower abdomen.
  • Itching and pain in the anus.

Symptoms of gonorrhea in men:

  • Out of pus on the tip of the penis.
  • Pain or burning sensation when urinating.
  • Pain and swelling in one testicle.
  • Swelling and redness at the tip of the penis.

After the germ enters the body, the incubation period or the appearance of symptoms after exposure, is usually about 3-10 days. Although this period is different for each patient. Sometimes gonorrhea infection does not appear for months, especially in women.
