God has been always a big puzzle to me since I was young. I’m born as Hindu and amazed seeing amount of God. When I seek the reason why too many God ; the wise answer was God changes rupas / form to suit the need the devotee’s need.

Question arise :
Are we pleasing the God or God is pleasing us? Which answer or question is true and what could I learn from the question. Various questions came into my mind and I’m so confused with the concept of God.

I’m very fortunate being able to raise as an orthodox South Indian Hindu and later exposed to spiritual practice while I’m living in New Zealand. I call an orthodox Hindu and Spiritual Hindu to ease my context later in my writing.

Orthodox Hindu practices offering prayers by performing pujas on daily basis with strict guidance given so Pujaris ( Priest). Eating vegetarian meal is compulsory to confirm our devotion towards God as well as occasionally strict fasting. This practice is more into we please the God in order God protect us from all unwanted circumstances and gives us everything what we need.

Question arise ;
“Are we bribing God with sacrifice and offering in order to receive God’s blessing?”

Spiritual Hindu of me has been very practical and sounds very logical approach to Hinduism. A new sets of believe system came into my mind and I’m proudly believing it. There is God within us and our journey of life is to discover God within us. Spiritual Hindu emphasizes self discovery in everything we encounter in our life. And now , this practice appeared to be , we required to please us in order to discover God . It sounds very close , God is pleasing us to discover God within us .

Question arise again :

“Why we need to discover God within us ?”

I’m in search for all the questions arise in my mind and I believe I have found some answers after reading , listen , assimilating and concluding few points based on my perspective . The answers will be listed out in my upcoming writing .
