RE: Good and evil, my thoughts

in #god4 years ago (edited)

@voidsoul In Vedic culture there are two schools of thought. One is impersonal and the other personal. By one's own mental ability it is possible to come to the point of realization of spirit and matter as distinct and yet one. That is the impersonal school.
The personal school of thought is realized by a mood of loving devotion. For that there are two. The lover and the beloved. Spirit is not dependent on matter. They are two distinct energies and there is no dissolving, much like oil and water mix but oil does not dissolve. In the spiritual energy there are forms, conscious beings, activities, etc. much like we see around us. But what we see and perceive is spiritual forms covered by matter. When the covering is removed the pure forms are there. There is no birth or death, but there are activities, entities. It is entirely different type of atmosphere. The spiritual world. We are presently experiencing the material world.
This is an illustration from Bhagavad Gita, as it is... (https://prabhupadabooks.com/bg/15/1) depicting how the spiritual entities become entangled in the material energy. yin and yang here can be seen in relationship to Divine female and Divine male. Or as they say Hare and Krishna.
