Biblical Hermeneutics: "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities have been clearly seen being understood from what has been made", Romans 1:20

The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans offers us an argument about the existence of God:
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen being understood from what has been made", Romans 1:20. That is, the invisible perfections of God are made visible to the intelligence through the existence of creatures.
Tomas Aquinas in his book Summa Teologiae offers us several arguments about the existence of God, this arguments are called the Five Ways of Thomas Aquinas, the affirmation of Paul corresponds to the third way, the argument from necessity. God is necessary for the existence of creatures.

This statement by Paul is of fundamental importance because it is the origin of security in God. We do not believe in God by simple faith, but by a particular knowledge of the created: "his wisdom".
We access to the knowledge of God, and to spiritual illumination through the progessive acquisition of wisdom, the divine science.
Faith accompanies hope, but security in God accompanies eternal life; the trust in God or confidence in God or security in God is the adult faith. Paul is this text from Romans 1:20 is telling us about the spiritual adulthood of man, the spiritual man does not need faith: "The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment", 1 Corinthians 2:15.
Faith without knowledge cannot bear fruit: "But even more blessed are all who hear the Word of God and put it into practice", Luke 11:28. The word of God is the knowledge of the correct means to live.
The difference between faith and security in God is what differentiates the rational man from the spiritual man, rational man beyond rational arguments about the existence of God, needs at some point of faith, because reason alone is insufficient to achieve the truth. Gnosis is a grace, a charism that is beyond faith; the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:33) explains that only those who retain with constancy the wisdom can receive the holy spirit and see the kingdom of God.
The path to salvation is a path of constancy, wisdom and faith.
