GM (GMO) Salmon in Canada and unlabeled

I'm all for advancements in industries and technology and I can appreciate the work put into these GM salmons.

However what I do have a big problem with is the fact that this product is being sold in our supermarkets unlabeled right along with wild Salmon. People don't know what they are buying. This also sets a precedent for other GM foods.

The statement from the representative of the company behind this GM Salmon about demand for their product is also quite funny. I'm sure that if it had proper GMO labeling their product most likely would not have sold much at all.

What are your thoughts?
