In a few years, the wood of the world will be destroyed, with the increase of heat, termites are also increasing the population!

With each passing day as the heat on the earth is increasing, we are coming closer to doomsday. Innocent, small looking creatures termites also have a role in this. Experts believe that with the increase of global warming, termites start eating more and more wood, and even soil. Due to this, the temperature rises more quickly.
Scientists are constantly expressing concern about global warming i.e. increasing the temperature of the earth. It is believed that because of this, there will be the 6th Mahavinash, in which the water will boil and dry up and the stones will melt. Needless to say that this will be the time for the end of humans too. Tell that till now the world has seen 5 great destruction, in which the end of dinosaurs was the fifth and last mass destruction. About 65.5 million years ago, the cause of this holocaust was the collision of an asteroid with the earth. But it is believed that the destruction of the future will be due to us and not natural.
Termites are also responsible for global warming
Due to human activities, the earth is getting warmer continuously. Oxygen is decreasing. This speed is very high. Now it is known that termites also have some contribution in this. This small animal that destroys the furniture and books of the houses is also associated with global warming. The latest study suggests that Deepak starts eating wood more rapidly in hot weather. Even every 10 degree increase increases their efficiency by 7 times.
How is the eating of wood by termites increasing the heat?
As we know, trees and plants play an important role in the global carbon cycle. They absorb carbon dioxide during photosynthesis so that the temperature remains normal. As trees age, some parts of them start dying. Termites first target these and start decomposing them in the process of eating. This releases carbon dioxide and methane gas. These are the same green house gases, which are increasing the temperature rapidly. So as the temperature increases, the population of termites and their speed of eating wood will also increase. Its direct effect will be seen on global warming.

Study done on 133 sites
Scientists associated with the University of Michigan found many other things during this study on termites, such as with the increase in global temperature, the population of termites will increase and they will reach every corner of the world. In this study published in Science Journal, for the first time concern has been raised about termites. During this, more than a hundred scientists studied wood in 133 parts of the world. Antarctica was kept away from this because there bacteria, fungus and termites eat only spoiled wood.
here is the result
It was seen at these sites that what is the speed of destruction of wood by termites. The results were shocking on matching this. The speed of destruction of wood in hot places was more than in cold places. It also showed that they survive more easily in hot climates. It is clear from this that as the heat increases, their population will also increase. Along with this, the destruction of healthy woods will also increase.
In 2017, a similar study warned that 12 of the 13 fastest-growing species of termites would spread across the world by 2050, leaving only colder regions, if they could stay cold.
