On the cusp of a revolution..

The below screed is merely the ramblings of a crazy man and no-one's opinion but my own... I like many am a Keyboard Warrior.. for I have a lot to say and encourage open and honest dialogue with a fundamental and basic view of contributing my voice into society in the hope of encouraging free thinking to allow societies decisions to be directed within a vision of the betterment of humanity.

Here I sit, writing my first blog on Steemit, daunted and perplexed, yet marveling in the wonderment of this new technological evolutionary digital jump. Akin to the creature coming from the primordial ooze, from flippers and gills to lungs and feet it appears that we are in the process of making the next leap in reaching out and embracing the global community within this rapidly expanding digital era.

I am a newbie to all this and while I consider myself relatively diligent and more a "Jack of all trades" rather than a "Master of one" I feel like a complete and utter numpty when it comes to even beginning to understand the intricacies of this current digital revolution let alone the inner workings of the coding making these systems "chooch" - Thanks Ave ( YouTuber ), however I cannot help but feel positively buoyed with the potential of this evolutionary stepping stone in the advancement of "We, the people" assisted by the likes of these decentralized platforms. I am also a self confessed grammar and spelling nazi... ( Sorry in advance )..

As a young 40' something human being, I for one have been become rather jaded with the direction of society. The hidden hands of our tyrannical leaders, supposedly elected into positions of public servitude pushing their own hidden agenda's, often hidden within other hidden agenda's. Nothing is ever as it seems with shady back end deals utilized to line their own pockets as opposed to doing the will of the people and fulfilling their roles as should be implied by their titles of "Public Servants". Their Hegalian Dialectic methodologies have served them well time and time again, their divide and conquer strategies have succeeded due to a lack of transparency however this is rapidly coming to an end.

The systemic breaking down of any number of cluster of groups has long been planned and successful in de-strengthening our communities. The combination of their ever invasive stripping of our privacies, the Fear-Porn spewing from the Lamestream media combined with a rabid consumerist driven lifestyle via their television "programs" ( There's a reason they're called programs!! ), the indoctrination of our children to comply to authority and simply regurgitate what they're taught as opposed to thinking for themselves within their educational systems, all these mediums have slowly but efficiently broken down our strong participation and sense of community including our family units, purely because the entire construct has been a part of their system and of which we have bought into under the illusion of choice.

Amongst our global society it seems that a "call to arms" has been heard and answered out of necessity by those of us within our ranks that have held the intelligence, foresight and diligence to understand some of the large problems we have been facing and within that provide a large part of the solution. The entire concept of a decentralized digital platform in which we the people can communicate in complete transparency and in a direct "p2p" fashion without the menacing need of a "Big Brother" Orwellian figure mandating what we can and cannot do to me is one of the answer's we have all been looking for whether we new it or not. We are no longer children in this digital age, we as a digital society are teenagers and young adults, steadfastly pushing forward with the beauty of bravery, and in now having some historical hindsight as a guide to assist with steering our digital evolution in a way that best serves "Joe and Jane public".

Many of us have been waiting and waiting for genuine societal change and yet it has not come largely because out of fear of going against the authorities we have not known how to embark on such a quest, yet, in near overnight fashion the likes of the Blockchain platform as a construct in which to develop a genuine foundational system for "we the people" has given us a medium within which to reside and healthily grow alongside the construct of the illusory reality of the old paradigm we have been perpetuating, which has happened simply via our participation within it. Whilst we have apparently had the ability to choose within the old system make no excuse about it, it has merely been an illusion of choice. Choosing the lesser of two evils is not really choice when it is the only options you are given.

We are the ones we have been waiting for all along. I encourage all of us to get on board this digital revolution and take back the space that has been ours all along and within that, create a world via genuine, transparent platforms that can become an environment in which we are proud to be a part of. The old construct will slowly decay and give way to the new as long as we support, encourage and participate within it and in that, let the old peacefully fall by the wayside.
