Crypto Whale Who Won Bet Terra’s Collapse Reveals Massive Short Against Terra Classic

Microblogging platform Twitter has revealed a huge bet of nearly $8 million against a popular cryptocurrency whale Terra Classic ($LUNC) known as Giant Rebirth. Terra Classic is the rebranded version of the original Terra Ecosystem, which collapsed earlier this year.

The giant reincarnated on Twitter, known as GCR, announced a stance against the cryptocurrency in a tweet referencing a now-infamous tweet by Terra founder Do Kwon, who told me $DAI would die. DAI is an Ethereum-based decentralized stablecoin paralleled by other cryptocurrencies.
