I really love this idea of staying somewhere for 3 months, coming home, and then moving off again.
When I did my round the world trip I did something similar, except I didn't come home in between. I wanted to stay in fewer places for longer rather than a loads of places for just a few days. 😁
It think it's the way to go. It gives us time to do other things, not just "travel" ... it allows us almost to become locals (almost).
I really hope that John and I will be able to do that once he retires. 😁
We can be travel buddies!!!
