Want to get noticed on Steemit??? Join the Get-Noticed Project NOW!!!!

in #getnoticed7 years ago

Hello,

After just over a week struggling to get any of my work noticed on Steemit, I thought I would post this as an outreach to everyone else on here who perhaps feels the same.

What I suggest is this -

  1. We all post any tips about how to get seen that we have learned below.
  2. We get the dialogue going back and forth about this and try to create new ideas and strategies.
  3. We all re-steem this original post to get as many people involved as possible.
  4. We all follow and up-rate each others work on an ongoing to build a little community.
  5. We stick to this one post to build a really good resource of information back and forth.
  6. We all watch the below song from Sesame Street to get us in the mood.

Hey folks!

making a few steps: I made a little gif.

You can post this .gif anywhere, for example bellow posts to attract attention to our project.

200w_d.gif

And maybe link this (by @georgemason) post as well.

What about #TeamCoorperation :D Or we do a poll (later) if there other Name ideas.

Thats a cool gif you made man :-) That name is cool, I guess we could do a poll and see what folk think and choose whichever one wins, I tagged this post as "getnoticed" which could also be an idea for the project name, that may actually be one way for us to see each others posts if we create a unique tag that is just ours and check what we are adding to it each day in order to support each other, if we can have group ownership of the tag then we could direct it but also promote the whole thing and get other folk to join us and make it bigger :-)

Did you post that meme in dmania?

No what's that?

This is an idea:

The Rules

1 We follow everyone who is active.

2. We read and Upvote recommendable posts and comments from others (always remind: quality over quantity) and we give the author feedback.

3. We Resteem the Posts we especially like.

4. NO RACISM NO INSULTS

5. We always link this (by @georgemason) post at the bottom of our posts.

I agree coming up with a core set of rules is important, I guess we could do a poll for that too? Let folk decide what is important for it, I also agree linking back to this starter page is a good plan as it shows the evolution of the project openly so people know its genuine and they can join here too :-)

great idea, i certainly need to follow this!

Yes, let's start something big by the power of COOPERATION

Agree, probably the best support we can give eachother at this stage is upvotes, follows and support.I guess we need somewhere to alert eachother about our new posts. I know there are a few spin-off groups (the Isle of write etc) that work on Discord. I am on it but I am not tech savvy enough to set it up and it looks like the curators never get to sleep!

Great idea! I can try to set up a discord channel.

The first thing everyone can do in the case of "alerting each other" is turning notification for steemit on. So you get notified if someone comments on your stuff.

This post can help you:

Although discord would be good it would be great if we could find a way to as a core thing communicate directly via steemit as it keeps our communications really open and it will attract new people to join as they will see the activity very openly :-) What you think of the tag idea? Or is there any other way to create groups on steemit?

I agree, supporting each other with follows and up votes is mega important, how about using the tag as a way that the group exists on here? Either the "getnoticed" tag or we could create a new one, as suggested above we could do a poll on it to choose a name. :-)

The only thing we have to consider if we use a unique tag for all posts is, that our post can't show up on other tags so it will be much harder to reach new users.

how do you mean?

Well, on Steemit you can get a lot of attention just because of the tag you use. Users often scroll threw the "new" or "hot" section of famous tags like: Steemit, introduceyourself, photography etc.

Using a unique tag on our post could cause problems because new user can't find our project because they don't see the post.

Ah yes I get what you mean, the thing is as you can choose different tags for your post, I think its 5 right? Then only one of them needs to be the unique one, it then means that it is a central place to go where are all of this group ones are posted, yet they can still appear in all the other 4 tags too, makes sense?

Cool :-) Any thoughts?

Excellent :-) What you thinking?

took the first steps I think.

The key point now is to get new members so I think we need to Share, Post, Upvote and Resteem everything that is worth it and attract attention.

Totally agree :-)
