Germany and France go strong for Uefa Nations League clash

Germany and France have both fielded strong line-ups for their Uefa Nations League clash in Munich.

Manuel Neuer, Jérôme Boateng and Mats Hummels provide familiarity in defence, with Matthias Ginter and Antonio Rüdiger also coming in.

Leon Goretzka partners Toni Kroos in midfield, with Marco Reus and Thomas Müller playing just off Timo Werner. Joshua Kimmich also starts but it’s unclear what position he will play in.

For France, Alphonse Areola starts in goal in the absence of Hugo Lloris and Steve Mandanda, behind a back four of Lucas Hernández, Samuel Umtiti, Raphaël Varane and Benjamin Pavard.

N’Golo Kanté partners Paul Pogba in midfield, with Blaise Matuidi, Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann tasked with supporting lone frontman Olivier Giroud.
