MK-85 The Cipher Machine

1980's at the end of the time, Soviet Union were developed the cipher machine known as ELEKTRONIKA MK-85, One of the most advanced commercial calculator was ever to be in the production. The MK-9x series were prototype and limited production. The MK-85 was the programmable CMOS BASIC microcomputer, which is apparently based on the western BASIC electronic machines. And then the top secret military adopted MK-85C cryptographic device with the codename AZIMUT which was based on commercial MK-85 machine. It was mainly used by the Soviet Forces, and the text for cipher the messages is entered from the alphanumeric keyboard and it can be edited on machines matrix type of display. The MK-85C has 10100 key variations and it can encrypt and decrypt in both numeric and alphanumeric mode.
