Russia-Ukraine War:

Russia launched a massive drone and missile attack on Ukraine, with over 550 drones and missiles fired, primarily targeting critical infrastructure. Ukraine reported shooting down many, but some significant damage occurred. Despite a call between US President Trump and Russian President Putin, Russia reiterated it will not back down on its war goals, and Trump reportedly expressed disappointment and paused some weapons shipments to Ukraine.

Gaza War:

Israeli strikes continue in Gaza, with reports of 94 Palestinians killed in recent strikes, including 45 waiting for aid. Efforts towards a ceasefire are ongoing, with Hamas reportedly studying new proposals. Israel has also recovered remains of more hostages from Gaza.

Iran:

The US has issued the first wave of sanctions on Iran after a recent 12-day war. There are ongoing discussions between leaders about resolving the situation around Iran through political and diplomatic means.
