Depression is a serious problem, and should not be taken lightly. Many people think of depression as just being sad all the time, but it can also take the form of apathy (not caring about anything or feeling empty inside).

If you already have too many responsibilities, try asking friends or family members for support. Take time to do things that make you happy. If nothing seems to make you happy now, remember the activities that once made you happy, and force yourself to do them. If you are prone to isolating yourself, make sure you interact with friends or family everyday. Try something new.
